North facing guerilla

I've adopted a bit of neglected council land (they know in fact so it's not properly guerrilla style).
One side of the walkway is sheltered by a North facing wall . I've put some nasturtiums in just lately - what else might I put in there - preferably edible?
( the theme is 'incredible edible' or 'food for free' )

You could train a morello cherry against the wall. Gooseberries and blackcurrants would be ok there, I find they grow anywhere, although fruiting will be less. Try lettuce as well, but keep an eye out for slugs, walls seem to attract them.
