Crane (ALDI) waterproof socks
« on: May 24, 2016, 02:13:15 pm »
I bought some of these, the last time they were on sale, didn't get to try them out until our MTB jaunt on Saturday.

They are brilliant, they use the Porelle mid layer, but they are so much more comfortable and efficient at keeping feet dry than the old Porelle Dry/Sealskin socks.  At times we were riding through BB deep water, my feet got a little cold, but kept dry.

I am so glad I bought two pairs!

Warning! they work fine but the colour runs in the wash!

I too rate these above the Sealskinz versions I have - better fit mainly

Don't wash them - just ride in the rain ::-)

I'll keep an eye out for them coming on sale again. Mrs B could do with some.
