Do they re-use them?

Re-using Tesco bags is a mug's game.  The plasticiser has a half-life of about 25 minutes.  (See previous rants on the subject.)

It's the weekend and my get up and go has got up and gone.

Had planned to get the bus into town this arvo, but then remembered that the bloody races are on meaning it'd be quicker to walk  >:(

No, they recycle them. My argument was this is not a carbon neutral thing to do, and to use a bag to carry stuff only 12 feet is madness!

Don't Tesco have those big plastic crates to do home delivery in?  Deliver the stuff in the crates then pick them up next time?

The combination of drugs that make one's skin very dry and fragile, along with a very snotty runny nose is not a good one :(

Dear Cambridgeshire Highways Authority

Thank you for resurfacing the shared path on the A1307 up Wandlebury Hill.

Whose bright idea was it to resurface it with loose gravel?

It spoilt an otherwise very enjoyable ride,as I had to pull Regina up the hill because it was impossible to ride up.  >:(

Yeah, the stuff is crated, but the guy won't leave his crates behind. To be fair mine is usually a big order with about 8 crates in it. He claims he is only given 30 seconds to walk each crate to the house and get an empty one back to his truck, and so the few seconds I would save by lifting the dozens of carrier bags out of the crates rather than shopping would enable him to keep to his schedule

Work colleagues: The possession of a tv and your obsessive watching the TDF does not make you an instant expert on all aspects of cycling. Oh, and there are other races in the world that matter.

Just shut up talking about tdf, please. You never give a monkey's toss about bikes or cycle sport any other time of the year.

Dopey mate stuck in the 20th Century: I gave you a mobile phone with a SIM in it and £10 credit on it. I did this because ASDA mobile charges 10p/minute for calls, whereas you are stuck on some deal where you pay 40p/minute, but are too lazy/dopey/scared/incompetent to do anything about it.

So, when I next see you and you are still on the old tariff and "your mum has lost the phone I gave you", don't expect more help to be forthcoming.

Does that qualify for a pothole card? A VERY BIG one?

Half way through a "Deadly" Killer SuDoku (Saturday Times, 16th July; suggested time - 58mins; time I've spent on it so far - at least 3 hrs) and I find I've got it all wrong.  Time to start again.

My friend has cancelled his visit to Brum to see me this weekend as we're both too ill.  While I'm slightly relieved cos friend is EXTROVERT (and lovely) I'm also sad and pissed off.  Am hoping to feel more human soonest.

O2, stoppit!

Having spent $SMALL_FORTUNE this year on concert tickets, travel etc I thought I might have got away with a bit or respite.

Then you go and send me an email telling me that RHCP tickets go on priority order today!!!!

It's certainly got a pretty unusual collection of GSM/3G antenna directions.  And some TETRA :)
