Having had a monster week of DVD viewing I took in the first part of the two parter.

It's very well made, well acted, semi documentary in style.

It is a bit dry though, even by the standards of objective film making (as in non Mel Gibson)

I look forward to the second part just to see if the atmosphere of the first film will persist when things start to go wrong for Che.

I found this hard work as I was trying to understand the Spanish and not read the subtitles. But it was worth watching, and extremely well acted.

I found the gun bits boring. And there were quite a lot of those.

The other twenty minutes were excellent, however. ;)
