Just for further coincidence, I cut myself on the same knuckle that a dog bit my son on a few days ago. Spooky!

Yesterday I opened the same knuckle* by doing the same thing** I was doing 3 years ago when I did it last.

Me!  You have been awake for forty-four hours and haven't even ridden a 600 while doing so.  Go to bed, you idiot ::-)

So here's me thinking that my new bike is still nice & clean, no need to clean it yet, then I take a torch to peer into a drop-out and all the dust (pollen?) appears, up the stays, seat tube, down tube, bloody everywhere.

Carbon bikes get static-loaded?

Leave it for a while and see if you get a lovely bunch of flowers or some radishes?

Bloody BBC. Sport.

All they could be bothered with this morning was:

Glof
Tennis
Mens U21 Foopball
Ladies Foopball
Ladies Hockey
F1

What cycling? Oh? Was there any? They only mentioned stage 1 coz Lizzie Armitsteadcrashed and they could show the normal sensible driving public a cyclist crashing, which is, of course, utterly hilarious. >:(

Sometimes the BBCs anti-cycling policy gets me down.

They said that Hannah Barnes won the last stage, and with it best British rider on the radio. No mention of the actual tour winner though

As the race was won by a FOREIGN, her identity is of no consequence ;)

My grumble is that I had to be at Tosco topping up vittals etc. whilst the race was setting off from not 5 minutes walk from my abode :-\

'Tis the season of cherries.

I enter kitchen this morning.

Parrot: "Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry."

I give him a cherry.

Parrot: "Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry..." etc.

We enter kitchen at lunchtime.

Parrot: "Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry..." etc.

Then (bloody hell!) he shuts up. Sighs of relief.

Inlaw Paw comes down for lunch.

I.P. "Hello Coco. Want a cherry?"

Parrot: "Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry. Cherry..."

Well, if you refer to him as "the cat" I'm not surprised.   He realised you had forgotten his name is Pete, and wanted to remind you.

Both good ideas.  Right now #2 is the more probable.
