I would imagine that this would be the makings of a new, streamlined Reg, who would be forced to get on his bike every time he needed a new dustcap.

I would also have to ride over the Gogs each day to get to work.

I completely agree with Reg.

OK, I give in. I presume you aren't planning on riding over a series of http://video.google.co.uk/googleplayer.swf?docId=-6017206718126253395 ?
Actually, it is rocket science.

We are going to look at a house tomorrow. Wel, it's actually a three bedroom bungalow with a HUUUUUUUGE garden, complete with pond and several sheds. I am already planning possible raised beds and planting schemes.

The house has just been refurbished with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and steam shower

It's in Great Shelford, a desirable village on the outskirts of the city

And it's within budget at £325,000...

But is it across the street from a LBS?

Nah but there is a shop selling all sorts of implements if you get my drift.

All round to Reggie's for a jacuzzi party !! :o :o :o

Hope it works out Greg.

What's Scotsdales Garden Centre got to do with Reg's new Jacuzzi? ???

Good news tonight! My eldest daughter (27) is engaged, and is wildly excited.

Her bloke is great and they've been together for six years.

We're absolutely delighted.

I thought I'd do something romantic for Valentines Day so I left my wife and 6 week old baby at home and went on 5 day 'long-weekend' blokes-only skiing trip to Lech with some mates.

According to the GPS I hit 120kph descending Zürser Tali (a stunning red run that drops down from the Muggenrat lift back towards Zürs).

I've never had such good skiing weather and good skiing. Perfectly still all 4 days and not a single cloud in the sky. Zürs isn't very learner friendly so it was mainly deserted (compared to our forays into Lech/Oberlech and Züg.)

Upon closer inspection of the GPX tracklog I think it was more like 100kph but still happy with 3 figures

Does the track include the vertical component of velocity in its speed? 100kmh horizontal velocity down a 32deg slope => ~120kmh actual velocity.

Good point, I haven't checked, but GTC could be using a naive algorithm that just calculates speed from lat/lon. I'll give the maths a go tomorrow.

32o? The top 300m or so of Zürser Tali is 46o. Mind-bogglingly frightening going into a tuck down that. :)

After several months of on-off work, I've actually got a RTOS to talk to the ADS1216 ADC successfully over it's SPI link. Yay.

I've just received my Hovis London Freewheel package. :)

Sent by The Mayor of London, a certain Ken Livingstone, on 2nd September 2007.

I may be a little late then. Like the post.

I think I got mine at the right time, if not, I've moved twice since then, so it's unlikely to catch me up!
