Arsenal goalkeepers have been sponsored by David Seaman.  Since him, they have all been fumbling idiots, put in place just to make David seem better and better with the passing years ;D

Well, my vague recollection of the second half seems to say to me that it was a gooner's defender who did the fumbling. I'm not that bothered either way. My last victory was the Mickey Mouse Windscreen trophy vs Carlisle in '95, so it's been a long time coming.

Arsene Wenger, Charlie George, Bob Wilson, George Graham, Denis Bergkamp, Bertie Mee - Your boys took one hell of a beating!

Well, not really, but it's been 48 years since Birmingham City won anything meaningful, so forgive me my boast. I've never seen them win anything proper so I'm not sure how to celebrate :)

Well done Birmingham City.   It always amuses me to see the emergence of the closet fans   :D

As usual Clarion is talking out of his cap.   :)    It wasn't the goalie at fault, it was the incompetent central defender who caused the problem.

Nice to see a 48 year wait rewarded.   All this fuss and bluster about Arsenal not winning anything for six years is mightily puzzling.    Most teams get to play for three trophies, those in european competitions for four.   None of the competitions has less than 19 other opponents all wanting to win too.   Six years seems like nothing really.

Fair enough.  I haven't seen it, but the BBC said they were both at fault.

The BBC, esp. Alan green has been talking bollocks about football for years.   Whenever Green is commentating now I tend to turn off.

I was very amused the other week listening to the first leg Arsenal v Barcelona.   It was all drool over Barca, and woe, woe, woe is me re: Arsenal.  Suddenly Arsenal score two and win and the commentators and pundits are stumped because they don't know how to say something noteworthy and nice about Arsenal.   I really don't know how Arsenal have survived with such a crap manager...    ::-)

We are once again a 4 bike household, and without the application of n+1.  Dearly_Beloved went and met the chap that found his bike, and said chap gave him a lift to where he had stored it at his workplace, and Dearly_Beloved gave him some voucher for the beer shop to say thank you for stopping his bike from getting nicked.  Hurray  :D
