Parking Nr Canary Wharf
« on: 08 August, 2018, 09:57:36 pm »
A good friend is staying in Canary Wharf four nights from this Monday.

Can anyone suggest some reasonably priced parking nearby? He won't be using the car until leaving on Friday.

Does somebody have driveway to rent?

Suggestions welcome...

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

Our driveway is available and free of charge but we are the wrong end of the Jubilee Line!

I've found Justpark useful around there before.

Westfield at Stratford charges £6.70 a day, which is probably as cheap as you'll find in that general area, and only a couple of stops on the Jubilee line from Canary Wharf - it's where I usually leave the car if I have to drive up to London, then I get the tube in the rest of the way. I've never left the car there for four whole days though.

Some surprisingly inner areas of London have no CPZ and therefore free parking. Most of Rotherhithe (across the river, but only one stop on the tube) isn't covered by one, for example.
