When you open the image in Flickr there is, at the bottom right of the screen, a curved arrow symbol. Click on that, then at the top of the opened dialogue now choose BBC code. Select the size (I generally use medium) and copy the link. Paste the link into your post.

It was snowing in north-central Bristol this morning as my son did his paper round. His shoes were "destroyed" (his word, they seem fine to me).

It's turned the forest out back grey but so far it's not lying down here. Promised heavier this pm. We just got the week's shopping done and the rain was bloody cold.

supposed to have been soem last night but just a bit chilly.  Forecast for tomorrow AM is sleetageddon, some nasty looking clouds brewing to the north

I've never been to proper Wales in the proper winter, but that sounds unusual; how many snow-free Januarys have you had there?

Don't recall, but not many.  We live on the E side of the Dee valley (been here 35 years) so look across to the Welsh hills.  I'd say the Berwyns get a covering every year, near enough, but only for a few days at a time.

SNO out here in the Angles of the East, thought the earlier rain and the lack of any sub zero temperatures are contributing to the lack of any settlement

It has started snowing here, but the temperature is 3°C. It's just utterly miserable and unpleasant.

After a morning of sunshine, it's just gone from sleet to snow to hail over the course of 30 seconds.  This is undoubtedly because I was about to go to the post office.

The 20 feet of life threatening snow predicted here by the shouty tabloids dramatically failed to materialise at all. Glorious sunshine instead this morning...
I did cycle through a short lived blizzard in the Peaks yesterday, though...  :)

There was a flurry of snow on the M25 J9 this morning which was a little disturbing as I still had to get to Newhaven. It didn't settle at all and once down to the M23 there was no more.

Still it was bitterly cold stood on top of the reservoir fully exposed to the wind.

There was a little flurry at the very top of Kirk Edge Road earlier, was gonna carry on west towards Strines but the headwind coaxed me down to Low Bradfield.

There was a bit of snow on the verges and on the tops around Ughill
