Yes, quite sad, not a great age.

Saw him score a try at Murrayfield, 77.

One of the greatest wingers to wear a Lions jersey.

Looking through his list of caps, I saw him play in two matches, both against England at Twickenham (1976 and 1978) but I don't recall him doing anything special in either. No-one did anything special in the 1978 match because it was a horrible wet afternoon and Phil Bennett scored all Wales' points from penalty kicks.

I've just watched the 1976 highlights and I thought for a minute that I'd remembered the wrong match as I thought the weather was much better than it was. But I recall very well JPR's second try, in which he was close to colliding with the post.
