Ireland weren't that good in the Scotland game and were let off by Hogg's dreadful mistake and a lack of ideas in the final 22 from Scotland. I'd have thought they'd have raised their game by now.

The funniest thing I've seen for ages was Owen Farrell clinging around an Irish ankle as the opposition player walked off, wearing him like a huge tag, and attempting to punch his lights out.

I thought Farrell had grown out of that nonsense. He was a very bad-tempered little oik early on in his career.

Both the Italy-Ireland matches have been postponed. Presumably that will give IRE a bit more rest before the biggie against France?
(assuming I've got the schedule right ...)

By the time that comes round the Coronavirus situation is likely to have escalated further.

I think the remaining matches will be played by Skype.
It is simpler than it looks.

Good point. But it will only be a problem if people can easily move between France and Italy.

Toss of a coin ultimately, I think

Better not let Hogg do it, then - he'll only drop it.

A good thing the Boy Farrell had his kicking trousers on today, because seeing out the last ten minutes with thirteen men on the park was not part of the script.

I wonder what's happening with the postponed England v Italy game.  I suppose the final result will have to wait.
