Another USBWerk ...

... which will, no doubt, be the perfect cue for the 'missing' one to emerge from its hiding place.

Hmmph.

It this like a teenager with black paint? Every surface of the workshop can now have stuff bolted to it.

No but it does mean that none of the frames I work on now have wobbly bottle cages!

Just a book for a chum's birthday: Cyclisme. Rècits De Courses Longues Distances.

Oh, and if you classify patissérie as cycling stuff (I do) then lots on Saturday.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

I ordered a new 105 front mech for one of my bikes the other day. I forgot to close the page, then when I next looked at that particular computer (yesterday morning), I forgot that I'd completed the order and did it again. Bum.

Some really nice Lake shoes, mail order, size 42, but unfortunately they're too narrow.

I'm hoping maybe they'll fit Uncle James.

Still struggling to find some good MTB shoes that fit and aren't too many €€€€€

Get yourself some Exustar Sandals, brilliant.
Get a bicycle. You will never regret it, if you live- Mark Twain

I already have Lake sandals which I love.

I need decent shoes (not boots) for wearing in the velomobile in the cold/rain and then wandering around supermarkets in. When it's too cold for sandals - boots aren't necessary with the VM.

Sort-of unbought a 10€ worth of helicopter tape to secure my rearlight wire along the crossbar. The stuff arrived last week in a plain wee cardboard box and has since disappeared: I reckon it was so light that someone thought it was empty and put it in the trash.

Lake make many shoes in a standard size (quite narrow) and a wide size (quite wide). Perhaps you need to order the wide version.  Some website descriptions are not helpful to which version they have.

Ooh, I'd forgotten about that! It is quite steampunk - I'll definitely affix it for the Whitby ride.

That looks terribly uncomfortable, but does have the advantage that your left leg will make it go PARP! with every pedal revolution

Last week my eBay search for SD65 sandals (the black, three-strap ones) finally came up with a tried-but-didn't-fit pair in my size.  They arrived this morning, and will be put aside for times of need.
