Two red bottle cages for Rafa the Wilier, a 500g tub of Banananananananana SiS Rego recovery drink and a shaker bottle to mix it.

Looked around Evans in Bristol on Saturday and the only things that vaguely inspired me were the wrecked parts used to advertise their trade in policy. Ended up walking around to the music shop and buying some guitar strings.

So that's a 'No'.

A new headset for the not-Tifosi from Planet X - was going to see whether I could just get new bearings but given the whole headset is £10 it's not really worth it. I ordered an extra one too, as a spare.

Nearly.

Passed a bike xshop, earlier, that had a GT Grade in the window, when I enquired about it I found out it was only the alloy version and they didn't have the Carbon Ultegra one.

Oh well.

A spoke key that will fit the spokes on my new bike (the nipples are slightly narrower than my key can handle). Also a Hollowtech II removal tool and finally a 16mm cone spanner to fix the play in my SS's rear wheel as I can't find my old ones

A tortec epic rack for the single speed.

Have tried the bike packing thing of strapping a dry bag to the handlebars and I prefer the solid reliability (and laptop handling ) of a set of panniers.

Some dropout adjuster wossnames and track nuts for my just-arrived-by-ParcelFarce Dave Yates.

I was in Norfolk, so got the above bits in Madgetts. Ooh, some lovely stuff in there. A pair of wooden sprint wheels. A Baines Flying Gate. A wonderfully lugged Baines tourer. <drool>

The Jawbone UPs have arrived, as has the Samsung Gear Fit.

A new coffee machine should be with me tomorrow, as the Dualit is limping along now, and I wanted a BtC one, so got a deal on a Delonghi ECAM22.360 thing.

Still working out which carbon fibre gravel bike frame I should get (will probably tranfer a lot of stuff off the Inbred to build it, but also looking at doing a 6800 1*11 build with R685 brakes/shifters.)

SQR block & sticky-up rack doodah: experiment to see if it'll fit my low-down bum's bike.  If not, watch the small ads.

A Boardman Elite SLS frame to replace the Planet X RT57 I bought last year. It's very pretty, but it's too much a race frame for me - uncompromisingly stiff and direct. A great crit frame, but not soft enough for my delicate arse! The PX will be on sale here soon...

Also, I hadn't noticed before, but those bars are a bit... well... splayed.

Close - a Liv Invite 1. I couldn't keep up with her round Rutland Water - fboab's always faster than me off-road, and that bike seems to revel in it (which of course, it should).

Oh interesting - love to know how you got on with it as I've had this bike on my radar for a while. Might go over to Rutland Water in a couple of months for a try-out.
