I'm doing it, going to the Old Garrison pub in Shoeburyness for a few beers afterwards.

I'm gonna limp to the pub and drink 'til the rest of me is as numb as my arse.

I haven't registered but I'm tempted to just tag along: I've not had a decent ride for over a week and it's pissing me off.

Is the route back via Hullbridge & Sutton Road?

Last time was Hullbridge then to the park via Hobblythick Lane. Also the route now avoids Ashingdon Rd as much as possible, although once it gets into home territory we normally dive off through Doggets and home.
Imo its a nice ride and its nice to support a local event.

Fist one, just after 6 I think. There is also a direct train service on the C2C to Stratford which leaves around the same time.
Just going to check times again now
0615 from Victoria
0601 from Central both get there about the same time.

That's the 6.15. Gets in at 7.17. Tempting.

See you in the morning, hopefully.
This year we are going to register at Vic Park as well, we have had two free years  :-[

I'll do the same in that case. I registered in advance for the Cambridge on in March. Otherwise I'd have just given a donation afterwards in lieu of getting sponsorship, which is what I did on the Cambridge one as well, although I donated less because the entry fee is pretty steep..

I see that there are two special trains, 6.25 & 6.35 from Southend Vic, that only stop at Hockley & Rayleigh. I reckon it might be advisable to go rom Southend Central: fewer people!

I'm not going into London, I'm meeting a few in Kelvedon Hatch and going from there.

May see you on route
