To be fair, @vorsprung , they had both done a 200+ for October by successfully completing their 400 2 weeks ago, on (Met Office authority) the "wettest day [in the UK] on record, with enough rain falling to more than fill Loch Ness, said the Met Office [whose] data  shows Saturday 3 October 2020 was the wettest day" since records began (1891).
And KSW600 is scenic, even in the summer with 15 hours of daylight.

I have a UK 600km DIY with 400m of climbing. Suspect the climbing could be reduced if it didn’t start / finish at home. Most of the climbing is the start / finish getting to / from the flatlands.

Basingstoke - Shaftesbury - Romsey - Basingstoke.  B3400 to Deane, then lanes to pick up the old A30 and then follow A30 to Tesco Shaftesbury, retrace steps a little to head down the valley to Bishopstone as far as the A354, then round the south side of Salisbury to pick up the gap through West Dean to Romsey, then the A3090 and old A33 back to Basingstoke.  Roads are mostly gritted and as long as I leave early the A343 into Salisbury isn't too bad.  Did my fastest ever 200 on this route in preparation for PBP 2011.

I've done various versions of the Citadel 200 as a winter 200. Actually, I'm about to set out on another DIY 200 in half an hour or so, this time out and back to Germany (visits to the max of 24 hours to Germany are still allowed).

hey now?!? Is that a version that avoids the scary death trap that is Liege? Why do we not get to run such a route? I've decided not to do the Namur rides if they go through Liege cos I'm fed up with Belgians trying to kill me. Have we found a nicer route into Namur yet that doesn't involve crossing a dual carriage way?

This one is unsuitable for groups so this exact route never was an event. I had another one, taking a loop arount Liège as a 200. With the current start in Heerlen this route would be impossible, it was designed for a start in Maastricht.

Only done one RRtY where my gritted road banker was an out and back from Darlo to Squires cafe at Sherburn in Elmet.
Navigation - a doddle
Food stops - plentiful
Scenery - none
Boredom - monumental
I won't do it again.
There, somehow, manages to be over 3,000ft of climbing on the route. I'm not sure how unless it's an accumulation of railway and canal bridges.
