Steve's tracker just fired up!

( I have a somewhat unfair advantage in initiating daily threads in that i'm spending a lot of time in a GMT-5 timezone, so, 5:30 a.m. for TG is 00:30 for meand I'm often just going to bed at that point)
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Here in Maidstone the rain has stopped and it doesn't seem to be particularly windy.

Heading towards Leicestershire - here it's foul weather, heavy rain and quite blustery.

Lovely day here.

Showers chez Steve, cloudy later, nasty NW wind.

Noticed a village called Weedon Lois south of Steve's track this morning. Must be a bit damp there as well.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

Would be nice if all weather reports included some idea of the area in question

Checking the rain radar shows that Steve has at least a couple of hours of this nastiness yet.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

While I don't disagree, the full context of the foul weather mention talks about Leicestershire (and indeed the poster claims to be in Leicester Forest East, though I thought that was a service station); the 'chucking it down' report included a reference to the inadvisability of Mr Abraham 'doing a Gibbon,' from which I deduced that Mr axolotlotlotloxon was somewhere in its vicinity; the lovely day is reported by Mr 42, whose profile and other posts make it clear that he resides in That France, thus making it likely he is referring to the pulchritude of current Alsatian weather.

Persian and Alsatian, surely?

Or Burmese and Labrador.

While I know that for e.g. Basil is usually to be found in The Country Girl Mordor his profile does not make this terribly clear.  Location info isn't required (or required to be true).

Also it is now tipping down in NE Londonton.

Perhaps the board could be adjusted so that all posts include the poster's distance from Marsh Gibbon.

Ah, that is because I am dual located.  Only in Mordor on a working day, of which there are becoming fewer.

The West Wales location is sort of correct inthat it is where we lived when we first moved down there 10 years ago.  I'm actually 5 miles from there, but have not updated the location as it is rather isolated and it is pretty obvious what the large shed in that location might contain
