Allez Steve

May you have a tail wind all day.

His current pace is made all the more remarkable by the recent (and current) persistently high winds - 15 gusting to 25mph almost everywhere for what seems like weeks now and no sign of easing off.

Go Go Go Steve  :)

I really hope yesterdays total was a sign of things to come; however, lets keep a bit of a lid on proceedings.  Over the last 10 days Steve averaged 212.6 miles, with a range of just over 100 miles.  To be able to knock out 250 mile days consistently from now on is surely too big a step?  :-\

If anyone can do this it's Steve, he must be made of really strong stuff, and as he says he is learning a lot more about long distance cycling in relation to his body each day.

Failure is a word that Steve does'nt understand and I dont think the word is 'programmed' into his brain.

What Steve is attempting maybe awesome and incredible, but I feel sure Steve will do it.
