I have a Cannondale Synapse circa 2014 with a number of knackered drive train components which I am looking to replace. This may or may not be sensible given that it only cost me £500 second hand and has done 11000 miles with little expenditure, and the price/availability of parts at the moment.
Anyway, it's a 2x10 setup with Shimano 105 FD and RD but FSA cranks and 34/50 T 110 BCD rings. It would seem obvious that a Shimano 105 50T 110 BCD chainring should be a perfect replacement for the outer ring, however I have found that life is rarely that simple and I don't want to blow £45 on the wrong thing.
Has anybody got any relevant experience in this area?
Thanks
Snake
