I'm a 'highly likely'. Looks like it might be a good turn-out.
I've ridden it twice before and enjoyed it both times. They were in near-perfect autumnal weather though, which may have something to do with it. There was a breathtaking temperature inversion we witnessed above Usk a couple of years ago - it looked as if we would be plunging into a sea of white fluff and bursting out into the blue on the other side, but it burnt off when we were in the pub.
Like jwo I think of it as being two large climbs with predominantly gentle stuff in between, and a long, easy finish.
I also seem to remember an esoteric offering at the old schoolhouse café at Defynnog. Potato, beans and salad, I think.
Watch out for the left turn just before Ystradfellte - it's easily missed if your body and mind relax too much on the long descent from the Devil's Elbow.
