Really like the design, so chuck my name down as interetsed in a non-PBP one if they go ahead....suppose I'll have to ride an audax again sometime  ;)

PBP one for me please! And have you thought about matching shorts in the tartan that's on the sleeves?

the lists up there ^ are a helpful guide, but can we all calm down a bit.

The design isnt finalised yet - it will appear here when it is ready (in all likelhood after the Oban 300 on 9th April) along with ordering and most importantly payment details.

If theres 2 different versions its likely that the unit price will be a £1 or £2 higher.

Perhaps you need the boys' equivalent of the skort in the manner of a kilt, complete with printed sporran on the outer and perhaps meat and two veg printed on the crotch area of the undershort?  A Skilt perhaps?  Hmm?

Have Audax England agreed on what 'warring with others' theme they are gonna go with yet?  ;D

I am totally up for one of these when the design is finalised and all that sort of stuff.
Weather forecast for the weekend?
It's character building verging on epic.

A "logo S.O.S." here.

In discussion with owayo they have indicated that the lion rampant circle logo [on the back of the jersey] isnt of sufficient resolution to put on a jersey.

Does anybody have [or know how I might obtain] a high resolution image?

Im not fussed whether this is just the lion circlet as is the case currently [obtained from t'internet] or the full blown audax ecosse lion with the text around it.  If I can get a sutable quality version of teh latter I will simply drop teh additional text.

ps - the black and white version of the latter logo [the one that sometimes appears on brevet cards] is also not sufficiently "hi res".

Help!

Graeme

I thought I'd registered for one but I'm not there on the list.
I'll have a PBP one if the list is still open.

After some logo to-ing and fro-ing, attached is what I hope will be the final design.  I am due to receive a hard copy fabric sample from owayo in the next couple of weeks and hope to have it with me in Oban on 9th April along with a sample jersey for sizing purposes.

Orders will open via paypal in mid April and I'll post details here of course when available.

My working assumption is that if theres not enough interest in a PBP specific jersey that PBP riders will be happy to accept one sans PBP references, but there will be the ability to opt out too.

Just a cheeky suggestion - how about some additional text (Gaelic maybe?) below the logo on the PBP version to balance it out?  Cracking design though.

G, that is very good. Very good indeed.  8)
TBH, I much prefer this version to the earlier one with the roundel on the back.

Well done, sir.  :)

Y Lee G,

Will the non-PBP one have "Audax Ecosse" on the front where "Paris Brest Paris" is on the shown one?

Seconded - excellent design. I'll definitely have one: PBP or not, depending on the numbers

Dunno what I did to OtherDave to get my name dropped off his revised list, but I'm still very much up for a couple of jerseys - pref PBP but if there's not enough then the ordinary variant would be fine.

Great design.  I'm definite for a non-PBP one.

All that is missing is the slogan "You may take our wheel, but you'll never take our FREEDOM"

The PBP in the thread title threw me off track!

I'm interested in a non PBP one. Unless it is Bladdered Pished Bladdered?

Are there rules about having completed a Scottish Audax?  :-\

Y. L. G. Have you got a proper logo yet? My logo-fu is strong.
It is simpler than it looks.

In no particular order

The "Non PBP" one will have the text "Auadx Ecose" on the front [unless the guy from owayo runs screaming from the building when he seees yet another e-mail from me].

Gaelic - no, will keep that for the Mille Alba one shall we?

The list here on yacf - is merely a guide.  I think that some folk genuinely believed that I was going to fork out potentially a four figure £££££ sum to owayo solely on the strength of some forum postings.  Get real.

For the zillionth time, ordering and payment details will be posted here in mid April.  Circa £40 each depending on volumes and payment in advance by paypal with no exceptions.

Logos - sorted now thanks for the offer though Jaded.

Rules - anybody can buy one, but please only wear it if you have completed an audax in Scotland which I think is the rule.  The penalty for unauthorised use is that you have to listen to a Moira Anderson CD for 26 hrs 40 mins whilst eating only oatcakes and edinburgh rock.   If that's too much to contemplate then I'm sure a 50k "jersey ride + photoshoot" could be organised, though it would have to be quite soon after we take delivery before Capn Zep falls off and rips his.

Mrs G has rather annoyingly (*) dusted down her medal from "Burns & Rivers" 80km ride from Alloway in 1993 and has a valid claim to a maillot, but apart from her I'm not going to ask for proof.     ;)

Thread Name - updated to be more accurate!

(*) only annoying cos I lost mine.

payment in advance by paypal with no exceptions.

Good idea, and make it clear to people they need to include their forum name, their real name and their address in the Paypal notification.  Failing to do this cost me hours whilst I married everything up!
