I'm in Oxford ready to join team feeling a little peaky (or maybe peaky blinders) captained by Iddhu, with TG DrGannet and Peter R for an undulating arrow starting 8am.

I'm sure it was nearly as sunny as this before we left last year. That changed ...

I am in the train not far from Bordeaux. Can you text me when you arrive?

At registration nobody asked me for a name so we are a nameless team I am afraid, we have till tomorrow to find one.

Just back from seeing Bianchi Boy with his team setting off from the Monks' Retreat in Reading.  They've started with a team of 4, instead of the advertised 5.

Here's hoping for the best of luck and lots of fun for all teams.

I collapsed at the top of Blakey Ridge. The air ambulance was involved,  though once they decided I probably wasn't about to die, I was carted herd in a land ambulance. Been here an hour so far. Probably another 3 hours to wait to see a doc.

Hope you make a full and rapid recovery!
I suppose the reason for your collapse Ought To Be Investigated.

Hope all is well, I finished up in Hinchingbrooke last week with Transient Global Amnesia but by strange coincidence will be starting Double Dutch tomorrow almost across the road from the hospital. Hopefully not a return visit but these things can be scary when you think you are fit and well.

If you get the same attention I did, although I have no memory of it, they should identify the problem quickly.

See you on the road soon.

Really sorry to hear this, Chris, but obviously glad it is not worse.  All the best.
