Title: What does this sound like ?

This is bugging me. Listen to the sound of this solo between 4:15 and 4:20. It's not the tune but the slightly atonality of it really reminds me of something but I cant put my finger on it.

Sounds a lot like Dave Gilmour's style.

She's imitating slide guitar by playing double-stopped 6ths, so maybe think of the slide repertoire (common enough in country, too).  There's also a Beatles track with a similar bit, maybe Two Of Us Going Nowhere, but I'm not sure.

Check the intro: it doesn't rise  (from 4th to 5th) like in the OP but the sound is very reminiscent.

Steve Cropper does exactly the move in at least one of Otis Redding (all stand, please)'s songs.  I'll try and pinpoint it.

I've been listening to quite a bit of Chris Rea's stuff lately, wouldn't sound amiss in some of those.  Also some of the early Dire Straits stuff
