Birthday Parties (warning - contains lots of piccies)

(1/1)

chris:
Zoe was 10 on Tuesday and Lewis is 12 today. We decided to give them a bit of a treat, so Mrs chris and I spent this morning baking -

Zoe loves her music,

and

no prizes for guessing what Lewis' favourite car is.

Then we went to Grendon Lakes with their friends for a bit of fun with this -

The boys went first -

The girls, unsure of what is going to happen.

At first it was sedate -

but it soon got a bit more interesting -

and occasionally things went a bit wrong, like this -

or this -

but everyone enjoyed themselves -

well almost everyone -

and you could probably hear the screams down in London -

yellow-ceitidh had a go too -

and some of the Mums and siblings had a go in the boat as well -

Afterwards there was much merriment as they had food -

and cake -

Its been a great day and it's not over yet. We've got eight kids staying for a sleep over!

It's great fun. Perhaps we should have a YACF trip there (meet at nearby station, ride to lake, get wet, drink, ride back to station)  for all us grown up kiddies.

That's a nice cake you have there.
I like your creativeness.
My son wants a soccer cake for his birthday!
I don't really know how to make that!

Your party looks exciting and definitely memorable

A rectangular cake covered in green icing, with a white writing icing pen to mark the pitch and subuteo-style goal posts and an icing football?
