It is simpler than it looks.

It appears to be an olympians invitational team going by the jerseys and I'm guessing the player wearing 4 is Miss Pendleton as to the others...

Indeed. I thought someone might recognise her :)

The others include Zara Phillips, Laura Tomlinson, Heather Fell
They were playing a team of jockeys, John Francimbe, AP McCoy and some others.
It is simpler than it looks.

An 'Air Tree' in Geltsdale in the Cumbrian Pennines. We had a trip out with the Ancient Tree Forum, and I made a little film.

In fact it was one of the jockeys that fell. Francome, I think.

A very dull evening walking above St Mary Bourne, Hampshire, but there's usually something to like.

Have been in Austria for a week.  The D610 is horribly bulky (I believe it's actually smaller than a D750) but it works well enough.

Beer was a theme.

Although no-one got pissed as one of these, found living quite happily in the outdoor pool (not chlorinated but constantly replenished by a mountain stream...it's rather bracing, even on a hot day)

Even on fully automatic the D610 can't stop SO cutting my feet off but, apart from that, I liked this photo.

Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Today is what the English call "Bastille Day" and we call the 14th of July, so there was a parade through Preuschdorf last night. The guys up front with the blazing torches are, of course, the Fire Brigade, comme il se doit**. The LED-lit phalanx behind them is the town band, the lights for their sheet music being so blinding that they can't see anything else and walk in fear of potholes.  The ironic thing is that all bands throughout France play exactly the same tunes every year so they don't need the music.

Cycled at midnight from Andover, Hampshire, to the 05:35 Ferry at Lymington.  Cycled from Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, to the 08:00 Fishbourne ferry to Portsmouth.  From Portsmouth I cycled home.  Arrived back home just after lunch.  Had some nice grub and a few beers on the journey and most people back home hadn't really done much yet.

Just like last year the light at Lymington Harbour, at around 5am, is sensational.

Actually sunbathing on the 8am Ferry
