My latest project is analysing the genome of the potato. So I spent some time tonight with the contents of the vegetable basket. And the kids paints.

Wild orchids (I think) last week on the Cowal Peninsular in Scotland.

I could be wrong but I thing it's the Western Skunk Cabbage (Lysichiton americanus)   :) ;)

That second one is very nice, bit more DOF, untill the first part of the front mudguard,  would make it even better.
