Recumbent bingo yesterday - red Fuego (?) on NCN1 east of Forres (rider was having a comfort break in the woods) and then later in the day a guy from Vancover on a separable bent on the back road from Knockando to Grantown-on-Spey. What's going on?

Item on the Tv news the other day - injured ex-service types at the unveiling of a memorial in Windsor.  More Tricen gathered in one place than I've eve seen!

I even saw an Eliptigo in the Cairngorms last month - just outside Aviemore on the Old Logging Way. It's far too far north and too cold here for that kind of eccentricity.

KMX trike climbing hill from Gairloch.

Two trikes along the side of Lochcarron heading North.

I was touring on my Nazca Gaucho 26 and by day 10 I'd seen more recumbents than upwrongs!

Some bloke in Neu Isenburg, Frankfurt at about 6:30 this morning as I was out for a run.

Didn't seem much of it except it was yellow, appeared to have rear suspension and small-ish wheels, definitely not more than 26"

At a guess, probably on old Streetmachine (20/26) ?

(And greetings, from just down the road (Darmstadt!))

From up the road in Kempen, I see more and more Wild Ones and Skorpions every day - these are all three wheelers. The Germans' choices of colours for bikes are often questionable!

So it's a German thing, rather than HPVelotechnik-specific?  That orange...   :hand:

Germans' sense of colour is different than ours, I think.

As mentioned on another thread somewhere, everyone here is now buying brown cars. Not just chocolate colour but also diarrhoea colour. It's frightening!

Well, at least it's not yet another boring shade of grey... anything is better than that - last time I looked at the colours section of a car brochure, I thought it had been printed in black and white!

Yes, but you have to remember there are at least 50 shades of grey.

Yesterday, two recumbents heading out of Toot Hill, Essex, around 11:30.  Anyone we know?
