Can't help with transport unfortunately, but GWS!

Ditto GWS.

Oh shoot. Sorry to hear it Aidan.

Heal up and I hope you can get the transport sorted.
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

Not another badger?! Must be serious if you haven't discharged yourself and carried on - take care.

How about getting a LBS to box it and courier it home? These lot got the Spot to do it:

Rabbit just posted on Facebook that she's in Inverness - probably a bit presumptious on my part but I've posted a link here.

It's a reverse Elvis thing.

Thanks for all the helpful and supportive replies everyone, Yes, I was on the highlands glens and western isles, probably one of the remotest sections mainbrace to altnaharra at 1030 pm .Was a sheep.this time.  Hit it square on and somersaulted bike and me over it. Landed on my left side with my arm pinned, which did for the ribs. Gravel rash is  is not bad just had a CT scan though as I may have some internals. Caitness general is super, a&e were waiting for me, their only casualty, lots of attention from friendly staff.
The  ambulance journey there was very long and bumpy

Lordy! Take care of yourself

Given the location I suspected you were on the H&G. Best wishes for your recovery.

How's the bike?

Can't believe nobody has asked this important question yet.

I'd seen Lynn's facebook posts, sounds nasty. I hope you recover well and as quickly as possible.

Has Lynn managed to sort out her accommodation problems? Last post I saw she was going to have to go home tomorrow. If not, is there anyone on here up North who might be able to help?

Oh, and how's the sheep? (well someone had to ask)

Blimey Aidan.  You've really beaten yourself up!

As the veteran of quite a lot of chest drains, I sympathise.  Not easy things to have done and to deal with.  I hope all works and your time with it is short (I had a double chest drain setup for 9 days at one point and it was the most uncomfortable 9 days of my life!).

Heal up and I hope you get it removed sooner rather than later.
Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!
