I spotted a hair enhancement product in Claire's Accessories called 'Bumpits'.

I don't think they thought it through.
Got to ask, were you shopping for yourself in CAs?

Two special schools have merged, close to where I live. The resulting new school will be named 'The Village School'.

I always found it weird that an electronic measurement company would call themselves Fluke. But then i also love it.

While I applaud their service, I still double-take a bit at www.cycletherapist.co.uk/

There is a Chinese takeaway near here called Ming Yin. Doesn't really inspire confidence.

Fluke was incorporated in Washington state by John Fluke on October 7, 1953 as the John Fluke Manufacturing Company, Inc.
I dunno if USAnian English has the same meaning of fluke as "stroke-of-luck".

In Poole there is a sandwich shop called Butterfingers.... unfortunately there is a rather prominent bus stop in front of their sign which from certain places on the pavement opposite obscures a couple of the letters!
sorry no pic, but next time I'm there i will endeavour to remember my camera....
posted by Mrs H, as Mr H seems to have hijacked my computer.

I remember a factory unit in the East End of London, possibly Poplar, in the '80s that had emblazoned 'Quick-Wrap Ltd'.

Or it may have been Kwik-wrap.

Something to do with insulation I think - it always made me laugh.

Utterly deliberate, this one.  Northampton residents will probably recognise it.

There is a wine warehouse in Bromsgrove which nearly had me swerving into traffic.
It's called The Noble Rot.

There is a chinese takeaway in Lincoln called "Legal Food" and the story I heard was that the owners asked the signwriter for "Regal Food" but...
