Well, last month me and my son visited Stockport, the town of his birth (25 years ago).
He's a big Joy Division fan and it's a world famous fact, all over Stockport, that Joy Division recorded at Strawberry Studios, near Hopes Carr (There's a photo of them at Hopes Carr which is World famous, all over the Hopes Carr area).
It was early Sunday, we were bored, we knew roughly where the photo was taken. We just hoped there was something left after 30 years.
Fortunately Stockport council had decided to leave the area the shit-tip is was 30 years ago.
