A facebook page for reporting...
« on: 04 December, 2018, 09:24:35 pm »
There is a site on Facebook specifically set up to abuse cyclists, in particular velomobiles.

It needs taking down... a few dozen complaints about hate speech and harassment should do it.

It does go some of the way to answering this question, at least.

Given the driver/cameraman's level of stress I don't think he's going to see his 20s out without a heart attack.

He's also quite clearly not the smartest tool in the block if he thinks posting video shot whilst driving on a publicly accessible FB page is a smart thing to do.

Good suggestion - I've reported the page, if anyone else on YACF uses facebook I suggest doing the same.

Reported for 'hate speech' & submitted for review...
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

Thanks for your report – you did the right thing by letting us know about this. We've looked over the Page that you reported, and although it doesn't go against any of our specific Community Standards, we understand that the Page or something shared on it may still be offensive to you and others. No one should have to see posts they consider hateful on Facebook, so we want to help you avoid things like this in the future.
If you want us to look at something specific on this Page or another Page, you can report that exact content (e.g. a photo) instead of the entire Page.
From the list above, you can also block Yellow Wanker directly, or you may be able to unfollow the Page. If you unfollow it, you'll be able to find the Page on Facebook, but you won't see its posts in your News Feed.
You may also consider using Facebook to speak out and educate the community around you. Counter-speech in the form of accurate information and alternative viewpoints can help create a safer and more respectful environment.
;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT

Erm, all I saw (and I don't want to spend too long on FB, frankly if you use it, you're part of the problem), was a chap with a peculiar dislike. Honestly, I don't know why people such effort into such things, move along there's better things to do with your life than document your petty hatefulness. But anyway.

However, he's clearly holding a mobile while driving (and simultaneously making offensive gestures)...

Riding a pedal cycle is not a protected characteristic.  Hate crimes legislation doesn't apply.

Facebook don't care unless it's actually child porn or copyrighted content or something that might otherwise get them into trouble.

That video appears to contain evidence of a violation of road traffic law, that a sufficiently sympathetic police force might be interested in...

That will be far more effective than reporting to facebook.
