A million thanks to the lazy motherfucker of an HDNL driver who thought it would be OK to dump a box containing £75 worth of books on my doorstep this morning. As far as I'm aware, 'No POD' on the label does not mean 'dump on the doorstep'

Fortunately, by the time I discovered said box the rain hasn't completely soaked through and ruined the books.

The main reason that this is a grumble rather than a rant is because it seems to be SOP for HDNL drivers.

Yesterday we were part of the slow moving traffic on the M25.
Interestingly, even though we were only doing 20mph, the drivers who have to get to the exit at the last moment from the outside lane were still moving across at the same point in the road. Strange really, the outside lane was crawling along and the exit lane was clear.  ::-)

I saw Dirty Dancing for the first time last night, so I'm all eightied up, despite it being set in the 60's.

Saw Footloose a while back, just need Flashdance to complete the cheesy 80's dance film set.

Dear GP practice, usually the service I have from you is excellent. Your receptionists are both pleasant and helpful, the practice nurses aren't idiots, all of the GPs are nice, helpful, and discuss their reasoning with me in a way I can understand without making me feel they're talking to a thicky. Your repeat prescription service is very good. And, when I have to phone you as a professional about a service user, you're pretty good too. On the whole, I'm very happy with you.

However, for some reason the last time I ordered a repeat of the Elocon cream for my eczema, for some reason I got hydrocortisone. I have used the Elocon for about 20 years now because hydrocortisone doesn't work. But, I thought I'd give it a try, and after two weeks of twice a day application, it's done fuck all and I now have a scabby back, shoulders and neck which are very very itchy. Plz to not be changing things without discussing it with me first, kthnxbai.

(This is a grumble and not a rant because I rang them, spoke to the duty doctor and she said "ok, I'll do a script for Elocon straight away").

Yeah, they are on the list. MFWHTBAB is a bit amazed I've never seen them, but they somehow passed me by...

Yes, Warwick's pubs are dull. I told you that and had prepared a short crawl in livelier Leamington that would have required a 5-minute train ride, AND we would have been very close to the curry quarter. So why spend the night with a long face complaining about how dull Warwick is?

But for dance films you're also missing Fame.

I have been looking for a particular yarn for about a year now.  I could visualise exactly what it was like, I just couldn't find it anywhere. I have looked in shops, and on websites.

I finally found a picture of it.  The perfect yarn.  It is the right sort of yarn.  It is exactly the right colour yarn.  It sounds like exactly the yarn I have been imagining.

Nobody has any for sale.

In the bunch of roses that is the eBay experience, I seem to have uncovered a right prick ...

The reason I gave you a refund is because I wasn't in a position to fulfil your order due to a couple of the items being defective, something which I explained to you. Twice.

As it happens, I did list a smaller lot of the same components at a slightly lower price but I certainly wasn't under any obligation to offer them to you first. If you want them, just click the link do the biz - if not, kindly STFU and stop whining.

Claudia hand painted 100% merino, Dukes.

Not that I've found summat really specific or anything....
