Tandem captain needed for 22 July 2023

Have you wondered what it is like to ride a tandem?

The Wee McTaggert is visiting near London from the Scottish Borders for a couple of weeks. I am captaining him round a 200 on 29 July on our tandem but I have another commitment the previous weekend.

We had a captain lined up for the Suffolk Lanes Extravaganza 200 on 22 July but he has had to withdraw at short notice.

I can supply and transport a nice tandem adjusted to fit you and will give newbie captains good advice on how to ride a tandem safely and enjoyably. You (the captain) get a short, light but powerful stoker, a fun day out and (probably) a desire to tandem again.

Ooh, I’d love to do this but can’t make that day unfortunately. Also Suffolk is a bit of a trek.

And not I’m sure I’m for enough for a 200 right now either, though sharing the effort might made a difference.

The Wee McT more than pulls his weight. We did my fastest 400 this century a few years back and that speed wasn’t my doing.
