Again, never knowingly having heard any of it makes this a pretty safe bet. I wouldn't recognise it if I heard it.

My Good Friend Penelope sang a bit of it to me last year, but it didn't ring any bells - which of course all the best Christmas songs do!

I got both Whammed and Pogued yesterday at Hampton Court.  I insist it doesn't start until Advent though, which means today onwards.  But hey, what use, my current office manager has Heart FM playing the whole time so I'm get caught again in about three milliseconds.

At an open mic thing yesterday, a bloke comes up with a guitar and says he's going to sing the best Christmas song of all time. Surely he doesn't mean... but he did. Yes, I know cover versions are safe, so I'm still in, but you know what? Stripped back to an average guitarist and a half-decent singer, it's actually a decent song underneath all the hype. Still mawkish though.
