Problems with gmail and labelling emails.

Hello

Having an issue with my gmail emails.  Seems that the labels won't stay on particular emails and now it is annoying.

What am I doing wrong?  I am searching for the emails and then labeling them on the drop down menu.  New emails arrive but are not labeled.

HELP.

Check your filters? That's where it happens automatically (Settings -> All Settings -> Filters and blocked addresses)

Have looked at the filters section and there is nothing there.
 
Don't have multiple inboxes, just the one inbox and then labels.  Just odd that labels are no longer being attached to the new emails.

Well, the fix is to create a filter to do what you want.

Ah.  Now I understand.

EDIT: Sorted now so lets see what will happen.
