Ermm, it's possible you'd be feeling a bloody sight worse if you hadn't had it.

Yes, realise this but it m feeling grumpy and wanted something to moan about.
For every complex problem in the world, there is a simple and easily understood solution that’s wrong.

Same here Beardy, if it's any consolation. Came down with flu on Friday before Christmas, finished with fever etc but still really tired. Hoping a little walk today will perk me up.

I had it (took 3 weeks to resolve completely) about 7 weeks after the jab.  It was grim but I was sofa-bound rather than bed-bound for the worst part.  Whether this was due to any jab benefits, or simply that I've had flu so many times over the years, I don't know.  The flu I had in my 20s was the worst, with hallucinations and a real "I'm going to die" feeling.  It was never as bad in my 30s and I only had it once in my 40s.

Based on how I feel right now, I’d say the flu jab was a waste of time.  :'(

mllePB had a similar experience with covid in October.  3 weeks after jab she tested positive.  We both did in fact but I had not had my jab at the time.  I'd say that my dose was also milder or at least I seemed to be affected less.
