Matthew retired in 1998 so that would fit well with your current commitment to ACME.

You will have probably noticed by now that myself and Kirky aren't audaxers we are the racing arm of ACME!
Kirky's slightly on his game more than me and will now be aiming to achieve an average of 21mph on future rides in order to gain himself some more trophies for the cabinet!!!

So, you in fact have no business here and should go form CME for you two instead  :P   ;D

We do also see Kirky at outdoor meetings of ACME, on a Wednesday evening and on his bike.

Doggers, can we arrange to meet the Blackmore people to talk about kit n'stuff? I very much like the idea of having a local outfit doing the jerseys etc, especially as they already do North Hill shorts.

Lots of plus's there Tom - good idea... plus we can get to know their sizing by trying their tops on... win win...

Yellow Jersey Cycles use them as outfitters of their shop shirts too...

The Fridays (of FNRttC) presently have a ForceGB shop but a minimum initial order was required to secure that.

http://www.forcegb.com/fridays.html

Perhaps we could invite Blackmore out on a Wednesday night local to them?

They were very accommodating Tomsk, sadly they weren't interested in sponsoring us as they only generally sponsor 'competing' riders (their words) here is a link to their size guide on the website: http://www.rideblackmore.com/pages/mens-sizing-guide

I will try and find the priceless they sent me but it seemed very reasonable to me

It's official: my AUK club points now going to ACME

Other good news, Stuart Carmichael is re-opening Flitchbikes in a shop in North Street, Dunmow [next to the Doctor's Pond]  Much smaller, was a children's clothing shop, but has a small car park behind; on-street parking by the pond too.

hurrah

Now I'm not in a club of one  :P

With Bobb, Tomsk and Tippers' points we will be up there on the leaderboard - though a long way behind ACB, VC167, ACH etc.

Start recruiting mercenaries from the non-Essex world, those clubs have members from all over the place  ;D

I may be mercenary (and moving further into the depths of Suffolk soon), and my measly couple of BPs a year mayn't be the kind of contribution that elicits large transfer fees, but I may shift my allegiance simply so that I can wear jersey #47 with a moderately clear conscience. You see, it more or less matches my Boardman SLS!

As we visit a yacht club, I am sure it would be legal to use impressment.

OD can distract them while Tippers does the necessary.
