Tubeless sealant in tubed road tyres ?
« on: 31 May, 2013, 06:25:27 pm »
Any thoughts ?
I'm not ready to go tubeless yet because there aren't very many tyres to choose from but I wondered about Stan's Sealant in tubes.
In the past I've used Slime tubes on my roadified MTB and I didn't have any punctures for several years although I admit that could just have been luck.

On a MTB admittedly but I've successfully used non-tubeless tyres as tubeless (not sure about my syntax ???) and, again in the MTB world, Stan's in tubes is regarded as a good half way house. I've just put some Stan's in my fat bike's tubes and not had a puncture, but I'm only one ride in :)
