Alternative to Goldtec track hub allen bolts& cups

I have a Goldtec front track hub with their annoying allen bolt and cup thing. Problem is the cup is just a little too big to fit comfortably in the forks without chipping the lacquer in the droputs. 

Anybody have a solution?

....after the `tarte de pommes`, and  fortified by a couple of shots of limoncellos,  I flew up the Col de Bavella whilst thunderstorms rolled around the peaks above

Standard washers are fine.  When my cups got chewed through by the bolts, I just got some stainless washers.
