I was interested in the Dirty Reiver, but I didn't see it until it was too late. I've read an excellent write up at http://road.cc/content/blog/186674-dirty-reiver-200-%E2%80%93-lesson-hurt (http://road.cc/content/blog/186674-dirty-reiver-200-%E2%80%93-lesson-hurt) and a good sample of bikes at http://road.cc/content/tech-news/186623-what-bike-dirty-reiver-200km-race (http://road.cc/content/tech-news/186623-what-bike-dirty-reiver-200km-race)
Friends of a cycling buddy did the ride, and it took them 11 hours. I suspect that it would take me a while longer.
Definitely on my list for next year. Gorgeous scenery, traffic free, and I'll have a suitable bike prepared for such events a little later this year.

Thanks for the link.
I'm looking for some gravel centric events for next year myself.
I've got a place for the dirty kanza half pint this June. (to blood the new bike)
This one in the Autumn looks amazing, but sadly i'm riding elsewhere then.

I hope it becomes an annual event.

Not sure I can swing this one, but I am pretty keen.
