South East Bivvying
« on: 01 November, 2011, 04:37:19 pm »
I've seen a few people on here enjoy bivvying.
I've just got my first bivvy bag and am keen to get out!

Anyone in the South East/South London area recommend some nice locations? I know pretty much anywhere goes with bivvying but i'm looking for any hidden gems.......

Got the Rab Storm Bivvy from Cotswold Outdoor for £54.

Was looking at the Hunka from Alpkit but like the fact the Rab has got a zip and also have read the eVent fabric is good.

I too am considering the Alpkit Hunka

You can't fault the reviews and pack weight on the Hunka. The Rab is slightly heavier and I think is similar in size to the Hunka XL. It was the zip on the Rab that swung it for me though as in my mind I think that will keep me safer  ;D
