Tomorrow (and more) looks cold. Outdoor clothing (additional to what serves for cycling) will no longer fit in the saddlebag.
It's time to put panniers on & gear down a bit. I don't think the freeze will last that long... (ignores memories of a Fenland winter in the 1970s). So the pristine 22t cog, aka bailout gear, will see service for the first time. It was time to retension the chain anyway
