Well, I finally fell off and a really stupid crash it was too!
I was pulling away from a right turn and pulled my foot off the pedal, swung forwards and the rising pedla threw me over the handlebars. A high-side to all intents and purposes.
So now I have a collection of bruises and road rash all down one side.
Damage to the bike was limited to scraped bar tape (in need of replacement anyway) and a scrape to my lovely Brooks Swift.
Still, I guess I got off lightly really. Especially since I'm off to the Dave Yates framebuilding course tomorrow and a full complement of functional arms and fingers will be really handY!!
