I don't have much occasion to use the Birmingham New Rd, but when I do I avoid the rush hour as it is just not a pleasant place for a cyclist to be.
If you would find it useful to be able to cycle along any part of the route of the A4123 between the A456 Hagley Rd and the Wolverhampton Ring Rd then please have a look at this consultation (closes 11/8/19):
