My stomach doesn't know what time it is. I had breakfast at 0500 GMT and lunch at 1100 CET  but I'm not getting dinner til 1900 CET. I'm starving and trying really hard not to raid the minibar fattisnacks. :P
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Don't think it was him. He's in enough trouble already. Somebody* "accidentally" let slip that a Major from Army Legal Service has made an appointment to see our Colonel on monday.

Well have to make that corridor wider. I've just been run over by a badly-driven Chief of Staff.

Help for Heroes, plz to be sorting your clothing sizes. I ordered a LARGE rugby shirt. Shirt arrived with a big black L on the label.

Anybody else would be selling this particular size as MEDIUM. ::-)

A very minor grumble, but a grumble non the less.

Idiots, please be selective about requesting read receipts with your emails.  DO NOT set your email client to ALWAYS ask for a read receipt.

It irritates me no end that every time I get an email from you, no matter how trivial, I get asked if I want to send a read receipt.  No, due to group policies, I can't set it to "fuck off I don't want to send and acknowledgement of me getting your email, and what's more, if I get one more of these I shall come around to your desk and remove body parts with a plastic spoon", mores the pity :(

Doctors receptionists.
Now, this is a sweeping generalisation, and doubtless there are some lovely people out there doing the job but EVERY SINGLE FUCKING HARPY I have encountered doing this job seems to think it's her job to protect doctors from patients.
i) 'Normal' is not what blood test results say, they give NUMBERS. Tell me the fucking numbers.
ii) "We don't have email". You are a fucking liar. Of course you do. You just have a policy not to email patients.
iii) "I can't post them to you". You can't post my results? You wont post them, more likely.
iv) "I'll ask doctor if you can have them". You what? I do not need someone else's permission to have my results.
v) "phone later today and I'll let you know what he says, and then you can pick them up". Riiiiight. I get to do a 20 mile round trip to save you a stamp & envelope.

I think I'll ask to send her an SAE when I call to see if my (actually quite pleasant and reasonable) GP 'lets' me have a copy of my results.

Why does the LBS have everything displayed by manufacturer and not product type. To contrast and compare an item requires visiting 6 or 8 different display units.

Denizen of another parish, you took the trouble to respond to my 'wanted' ad, and email me with details of an item that you might have for sale. It's nearly a week since I replied asking for further information, so I assume that you've decided it would be too much trouble after all. Would it really have been so difficult to have just told me that?  ::-)

Giving up dieting for Lent is so backfiring on me. Trying out some interview oufits and getting frantic cause nothing fits. And all my beautiful bras make me look like I have four boobs. Damn.

Remind me at christmas to get my sister one of those pet feeders on a timer. It would be so much better than being woken by the cat at 5am every bloody morning.

At least house and cat sitting for her means I have a 10km ride to work to wake up properly.

Can I have my knees back not these aching wobbly things please?

Also, why was the only vehicle that managed to stop at the zebra crossing I was using this morning the cyclist?
