The scariest thing is that there were at least 21 other individuals also willing to ride that route.

It is part of the Red Bull Rampage.
I think the riders can pick their own routes down the hill, and build jumps etc where they want.

Look Jim, we could start here. Ride through this rock and cliff. Then get to that area over there where it's only wide enough for two snakes to fuck. After that, we can fly through the air to the other side of the mountain, make a right at the cactus that is ready to shove it's thorns right up our asses. Finally, we come to a stop at the bottom where there is no way to get back to civilization

Once, when somewhat lagered-up, I was challenged to ride an MTB along the top of a concrete wall about a foot wide with a 30 ft drop on one side. I did it. Then we had a "who can do the biggest skid" competition and I twisted my knee.
