FWIW they won't be *that* much lighter than ally ones.

Thanks Jurek, not worried about weight too much, more interested in vibration absorption and relative strength.

I find carbon bars stiffer (i.e. less comfortable) than aluminium ones.

They have a lovely comfortable shape that fits a variety of hand positions, the corners on the bend are especially comfy and the aero flat sections are great for riding on the tops. I have never had any hand issues using them, fitted them for a 2000km ride and have never looked back! Just about to buy another pair for the new fixie and cant recommend them more highly! Amazingly they were only £16 when I bought the first pair, now still a bargain at £35.99. I find the feel of carbon bars is much more forgiving than alloy, alloy bars beat the crap out of my hands where as carbon seems to absorb the bumps. I hardly even use much bar tape on these and they certainly are very light!

For some reason if you like them in red they are only £29.99!
