There was a charming little film on BBC2 yesterday afternoon. I caught it by accident when I switched on for the news. Two minutes in and I'd forgotten the news and was hooked. It is so beautifully filmed. The story of a young girl who befriends a fox.

Yes, I saw that when it was first on. Was it French (I haven't revisited it)? It was marvellous!

Yes, French, filmed in the Jura mountain region and narrated by Kate Winslet.
