Is anyone doing the Stockton Sportive next weekend?

I'm thinking of doing the Stockton Sportive on Saturday 16th as I've dropped out of the Dun Run this year.  I wondered if there was anyone else thinking about it, and if so which route they were thinking of.

Just spotted it's £25.  On one hand I want to support our local events and encourage them, but on the other hand I don't want to pay £25 to ride around near where I live - route map or no route map.  £3 for the Hell of the North by Darlington Cycle Club, supported by the Town Council - pity Stockton couldn't have followed this example.

Quandry... I can see the benefit of encouraging lots of the newbie cyclists near us to ride; yet I also feel that this isn't exactly a blue riband event justifying such a price.
