I'm really not too observant about tandems but ...
Saw a rather nice blue tandem with a small trailer being pushed uphill on A414 between Hatfield and Hertford this afternoon. Couldn't stop immeadiately - traffic and rapidly melting icecream - so dived home, dropped off the shopping, picked up a couple of tubes, a few tools and a track pump and went back in search. Found them in Hertingfordbury, thankfully with no problems other than the fatigue that affects us all from time to time. They were enjoying a well needed drink before continuing.
Most amis of me, don't know who they were, where they were from or where they were going.
