Anyone else?

Oh, and Clare, do you drive a red Renault and have pink crud catchers on your mtb? If so I saw you today!

Nah - they have a wheeled bike shed in ninja black!

I'm pretty unlikely this week.  I have a pretty long list of stuff I need to do and a fairly long list of stuff I want to do, and something's got to give!  Hope to make it out in a couple of week's time to hear all the stories of Catlonia tho :)

Gah. I woke up too late for tonight's pub run. I might schlepp Josette over to shyumu's beer 'n' theology night instead.I heard they do beer. And theology.

Anyone fancy a ride on Tuesday or Thursday next week?

Darlo preferred as a location, but negotiable. Northallerton, Toytown would also be doable.

Tues or Thurs potentially doable for me. Or I might go to the theology thing on Thursday.

Trains depending.

Bumping this up.

Why?

Well, in the next 3 or 4 weeks I have a couple of Thgursday where I will be back in NTR by ~16:00, and I have a passout from Mrs T.

So, the dates are:
18th July
1st August.

Anyone interested?

18th July has possibilities. I may be able to combine it with a washing machine removal raid on my mother's house (which I'm in the process of selling). Would I need a 2nd bike reservation for a trailer with a washing machine from East Coast trains - or do washing machines require a totally different type of ticket?

Possibly 18th July. 1st August, I'll be in Langdale :D

Anyway, shall we take advantage of this gorgeous weather and have a Darlo ride this Thursday? I know some good COR and the road to Manfield is open again....

I'll ask crusty. Does anyone know if shyumu's still in the country?

Darlo on Thursday could well be a possibility. I'm not going to broach the subject with the better half tonight though, and if it's COR it will probably be Beryl the Peril that I'll  be riding... What time were you thinking about meeting at?

6.30? Gives the traffic time to die down.

Sorry, I'm out for this Thursday. I've just been reminded that I have an appointment at 6pm which I can't put off again.  :(

Just been reminded, by the wonderful Mrs T, that the first one of this batch is THIS THURSDAY!!! i.e. in 2 days time.

Usual time and start place?

Any ideas of where to go? I think we should make the most of the nice weather.

I'm aiming to get the 17:18 or the 17:38 so should be there by quarter past 6 (or rather - I've got to get one of those 2 trains as there is a big one and a half hour hole in the timetable after that...). As far as destination goes - I'm happy to go wherever. I assume that there will be a certain amount of COR so I'll bring Beryl, as the most unsuitable bike for such diversions.

Mrs T is trying to arrange a babysitter for Thursday so that she can join in!

Unfortunately we can't get a babysitter, so Mrs T is out.

Still leaves me, Slowcoach and possibly phanta and Deano.

Scorton?

Is that like the one I went to last night that involved stupidly expensive (but yummy) food and copious amounts of beer? :)

No problem, Mrs T has got a babysitter now, so she is joining the mayhem fun.  This does mean NO COR!

Trains booked (though I'll probably not need the bike reservations it's useful to have them if someone plays "jobsworth"). Scorton sounds good - as would anywhere.

Dunno! The plan is:

1) Pub
2) Curry house
3) ???
